어린이들이 커가면서 겪는 불안함과 그에 따른 문제행동을 연구해온 전문가. 부모들을 대상으로 아이들이 가정과 학교에서 겪는 어려움이 어떤 것인지를 알려주고 그 해결 방안들을 연구하고 지도해왔다. 아이마음사전은 아이젠 박사의 다른 책들과 마찬가지로 EkEMt한 시선으로 아이의 문제행동을 바라보고 있다. 또한 부모가 몸도 마음도 건강한 아이로 키우기 위해 쉽게 따라할 수 있는 구체적인 행동지침을 알려준다. 현재 미국 페어레이디킨슨대학교(Fairleigh Dickinson University) 심리학과 부교수로, 대학 부설 ‘어린이 불안장애 임상센터’ 소장으로 재직 중이다. 또한 뉴저지 주 베르겐 카운티에 위치한 ‘신경학적 반응과 통합적 건강센터(www.cnih.net)'에서 아이드로가 가족들을 위한 개인 치료를 계속하고 있다.

Andrew R. Eisen, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the School of Psychology and director of the Child Anxiety Disorders Clinic at Fairleigh Dickinson University. His research and clinical interests include child anxiety and related problems, learning disorders, and sensory integration issues. Eisen has published numerous articles and chapters and four books including Separation Anxiety in Children and Adolescents. He maintains private practices focusing on children and families in Bergen County, NJ and in Rockland County, NY.

Linda B. Engler, Ph.D., is codirector of the Child Anxiety and Related Disorders Clinic in Rockland County, NY. Her research and clinical interests include child anxiety and related problems, ADHD, and the early detection and remediation of nonverbal and language-based learning disorders. Engler has published and presented in the areas of anxiety disorders, ADHD, eating disorders and school partnerships. In addition, she maintains a private practice focusing on children and families in Rockland County, NY.
