저자 소개

Jane Austen (1775-1817) was an English novelist renowned for her keen observations and humorous depictions of human nature, social class, and the roles of women. Born in Steventon, England, Austen grew up in a relatively educated middle-class family and spent most of her life in small towns, where she dedicated herself to writing. Her novels focus on the daily lives and marriage customs of the upper and middle classes of her time, exploring the complexities of human relationships, individual identity, and social expectations.
