예수님께서 그곳에 오심으로 베들레헴이라는 곳은 지상에서 최고로 유명한 장소가 된 것입니다. 그렇다면 왜 예수님께서 지상에 많은 곳을 놔두고 베들레헴에 오셨을까요?

만왕의 왕 되신 예수님이라면 당연히 천군 천사를 거느리시고 대접을 받으시면서 소위 레드 카펫을 밟으며 당당하게 오셔야 하지 않습니까?
If Jesus was the King of kings, shouldn’t he have arrived with an army of angels and have walked stately on a so-called red carpet?

그런데 예수님께서는 우리를 너무 사랑하셔서 구원하시기 위하여 불쌍하고 가난한 사람들이 모여 사는 베들레헴에 오신 것입니다.
No, Jesus loved us so much that he came to Bethlehem, where the poor and needy lived, in order to save us.

우리의 모습이 너무 추하고, 너무 더럽고, 우리에게 소망이 없기 때문에 바로 그런 사람들이 모여 사는 이름 없는 두메산골인 베들레헴에 오신 것입니다.
This is because the way man lives is so ugly, dirty, and hopeless, Jesus came to this nameless town where such people lived together.

그렇다면 우리도 베들레헴이 되어야 합니다. 우리가 베들레헴이 될 때 예수 그리스도로 인해 우리는 달라질 수 있습니다.
So then, we must also become Bethlehem. When we become Bethlehem, we can be changed through Jesus Christ.

베들레헴이 될 때 예수 그리스도 탄생의 은혜와 축복이 있는 것입니다.
When we become Bethlehem, we will obtain the grace and blessings from the birth of Jesus Christ.
