저자 소개
기업의 인사·전략기획과 교육·컨설팅 분야에서 활동하며, 복잡한 정보와 전문적인 내용을 누구나 쉽게 이해하고 실제 생활과 현장에서 활용할 수 있도록 체계적으로 정리하는 실용·문화 콘텐츠를 집필하고 있다.
삼성전자 본사 전략기획총괄 인사팀에서 근무했으며, 이후 기업의 인사·전략기획과 교육·컨설팅 분야로 활동 영역을 넓혀 왔다.

이 책에서는 몽골·카자흐스탄·키르기스스탄·우즈베키스탄·타지키스탄·투르크메니스탄의 UNESCO 유산을 세계유산, 인류무형문화유산, 세계기록유산이라는 세 축을 통해 살펴본다. 초원과 사막, 오아시스와 산악지대, 유목민의 이동과 실크로드 교역, 도시와 종교, 음악과 축제, 공예와 음식, 필사본과 기록을 함께 다루며, 오늘날의 국경을 넘어 오랫동안 이어져 온 몽골과 중앙아시아의 문화적 연결성을 이해할 수 있도록 구성하였다.
