서산 가는 길을
망설이다가

바로 오른쪽으로
조금 내려가면

운산 가는 길로
바로 이어지는데

이야기를 생각하고
들길을 지나가며

마을로 들어가고
냇가를 건너가네.

Through the main road,

I can see the cherries
Lining up the road.

On an early spring day,
The blossoms burst out.

When the cold wind blows,
They are flying into town.

수선화 심어 놓은
아라메 공원에

강아지풀 머리 내밀고
바랭이풀 길게 자라고
뽕나무 줄기 나오는데

잡초에 뒤섞여도
수선화 줄기 여전하네.

아라메 봄바람에
한들한들 끄덕이겠지

The daffodils are planted
In Arame Park.

Foxtail sticks out its head,
Indica grass grows long,
Mulberry trunks appear,

Being mixed up in the weeds,
The daffodil stems are still.

In the spring next year,
They’ll bloom yellow.

In the spring breeze,
The daffodils will nod.
