저자 : 김대행
서울대학교 사범대학 국어교육과를 졸업하고 동 대학원 국어국문학과에서 문학석사와 문학박사학위를 받았다. 이화여자대학교 인문대학 국어국문학과 교수를 거쳐 서울대학교 사범대학 국어교육과 교수로 재직하였고(1989~2008), 현재 동 대학교 국어교육과 명예교수이다.
한국판소리학회 · 한국고전문학회 · 한국구비문학회 · 한국문학교육학회 회장 및 국어국문학회 대표이사를 역임하였고, 현재 한국웃음문화학회 회장으로 일하고 있다.
주요 저서로는『한국시의 구조 연구』(1976),『한국시의 전통 연구』(1980),『시조유형론』(1985),『우리 시의 틀』(1989),『북한의 시가문학』(1990),『시가시학연구』(1991),『문학이란 무엇인가』(1992),『국어교과학의 지평』(1995),『노래와 시의 세계』(1999),『시와 문학의 탐구』(1999),『문학교육 틀짜기』(2000),『우리 시대의 판소리문화』(2001),『웃음으로 눈물 닦기』(2005),『통일 이후의 문학 교육』(2008) 등이 있다.
