컴퓨터공학과 지원자가 학교에서 코딩을 학습한 경험은 특별한 경험이 아니다. 코딩을 학습했다고 컴퓨터공학과에 합격할 것으로 생각하면 곤란하다. 합격생은 컴퓨터 관련 앱을 개발해서 주변 학생들이 실생활 중에 활용할 수 있도록 도움을 준 경험이 있다. 지원동기를 답할 때 코딩 학습 경험보다 앱을 개발해서 도움을 준 경험을 답하는 것이 더 매력적이다. 좋은 활동은 수업에 참여함 같은 수동적 활동이 아니고 앱을 개발하는 것처럼 생산적 결과물을 만드는, 적극적이고 주도적인 활동이다.
