Lynn Suh is a poetry translator originally from Boston, MA. After completing his studies at U.C. Berkeley and the University of Chicago, he spent many years living in Poland due to his interest in the country’s contemporary poetry scene. His translations of Polish poetry have appeared in various publications as well as the compendium Viscera: Eight Voices from Poland (2024). Recently, he has turned his attention towards contemporary Korean poetry. He co-translated and published Kim Yideum’s Histeria and Kim Hyesoon’s Autobiography of Death in Polish in 2022 and 2023 respectively, the latter of which was shortlisted for the Ossolineum Prize in Poetry Translation (Poland) in 2024.
