저자 소개

카를 폰 클라우제비츠 (Carl von Clausewitz)
1780~1831. 프로이센(Preussen)의 군인, 군사 이론가. 부르크바이마그데부르크(Burg bei Magdeburg) 출생.
프로이센 군(軍)의 근대화와 제도 확립에 공헌하였으며, ‘전쟁은 정치적 수단과는 다른 수단으로 계속되는 정치에 불과하다’라는 유명한 말을 남겼다. 주요 저서에 전술(戰術) 연구의 고전 『전쟁론 Vom Kriege』(1832)이 있다.
